All purpose premix

All Purpose Premix compound is an economical, air-drying, lightweight compound suitable for all three coat applications or as a finishing coat for all plasterboard joints, angles and fastener heads. It is a premium grade product that can be used in conjunction with BaseCote™ or RediBase™ compounds.

APPLICATION

Surfaces must be clean and free from dust
All Purpose Premix has a high viscosity in the pail; it may be diluted to a workable viscosity by adding water followed by mechanical mixing
Can be applied with hand and mechanical tools
When using All Purpose Premix for all three coats, the first coat must be used to bed a high quality paper tape
All Purpose Premix compound must be allowed to dry thoroughly (approx. 24 hours) before re-coating or sanding
Only apply over base compounds that have been allowed to dry thoroughly (24 hours)
Sand with care lightly using 150, 180 or 220 grit paper
Thoroughly clean all tools and equipment after use
