Basecote® 45, 60 & 90 compound

BaseCote™ is a plaster based, setting type compound formulated for the bedding of plasterboard joints, angles and spotting fastener heads. Available in consistent working times of 45, 60 and 90 minutes.

Leading gypsum based setting compound designed for taping and basecoating plasterboard joints and angles.

APPLICATION

Surfaces must be clean and free from dust
Can be applied with hand and mechanical tools
The use of paper tape is recommended
For an extended working time use BaseCote™ 90
The use of paper tape is recommended such as USG Boral SHEETROCK® Paper Joint Tape.
Ensure there is sufficient amount of compound under the paper tape to provide adhesion.
Each coat of BaseCote™ compound must be allowed to set thoroughly before applying the next coat
Thoroughly clean all tools and equipment after use
